In a thrilling day of cricket action at the Enjabulweni Cricket Oval on Sunday, the Eswatini Cricket Association witnessed intense battles as teams vied for top honors in the B Division T20 League Championship.
The day kicked off with a clash between 9 Oft Cricket Club and Nhlangano Legends, competing for the third position. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, 9 Oft Cricket Club faced a tough challenge as they were bundled out for a mere 49 runs in 14.1 overs. Nhlangano Legends wasted no time in chasing down the target, reaching victory in just 5.5 overs with 6 wickets in hand, securing a comfortable win by 6 wickets.
The spotlight then shifted to the highly anticipated final match between the mighty Indian Warriors and the Bangla Tigers. After winning the toss, Bangla Tigers elected to field first, allowing Indian Warriors to set a formidable target of 155 runs in their allotted 20 overs. In a valiant effort to chase down the target, the minnows from Manzini faltered and were bowled out for a mere 48 runs in 8.1 overs, falling short by 107 runs. Indian Warriors emerged victorious, clinching the B Division T20 League Championship in style.
Despite the defeat, Bangla Tigers found solace in carrying home the runners-up trophy and securing a ticket to participate in the prestigious ECA A Division T20 League, showcasing the competitive spirit and sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament.

With a total of 12 teams competing in the ECA B Division T20 League, the ECA announced that three teams will be promoted to the A Division League, while two teams from the A Division will transition down to the B Division League, setting the stage for future contests and promotions.
The ECA extended its heartfelt gratitude to all teams that participated in the B Division T20 League and congratulated the winning teams, as well as those who earned promotion to showcase their talents in the esteemed A Division League.
